The General and Human Resources Administration Department at EAESP has approximately 50 faculty members dedicated to core Administration topics: Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, Organizational Theory, Organizational Behavior, Corporate Communication, Human Resources Management and Leadership. The Department also offers disciplines and carries out research in more specialized topics, such as International Business Management, Intercultural Management, Small and Medium Size Enterprise Management, Career Guidance among others. This diversified group of faculty, who are also researchers, consultants or professional business managers, apply Social Sciences research concepts and methods together with their expertise to study management and leadership issues in the public and private sectors. The Disciplines the Department offers are focused on developing creative leaders and entrepreneurs to the global community. The Department faculty has outlined management courses that combine new course syllabus with practical application. They advocate active learning in their disciplines, guaranteeing that students become skilled in applying theories and gain expertise in solving management issues.
The Department is proud to contribute to the FGV mission of advancing the frontiers of knowledge in the area of Social Sciences and the like, so as to contribute towards the country’s social and economic development to improve the standards of national ethics, for more responsible and shared governance and to include the country in the international landscape.
