Master's in Business Administration (CMAE)

Objective: The course intends to prepare teachers, researchers and professionals oriented to critical reflection about Administration current topics.

Target public: For Business Administration, Social Sciences, Engineering and the like undergraduates interested in working in the academic area and in acquiring knowledge that will enable them to take on greater responsibilities in Business Administration.

Degree granted: Master of Business Administration

Research Lines: Currently, the program is organized in 7 research lines. The student will develop his/her dissertation related to one of the research lines, that will be selected upon registration for the selection process and used as main base of knowledge to develop his/her work.

Course duration: Academic Master's Program will last at least 12 months and at most 30 months.

Course load: Academic Master's students must obtain 30 credit hours following the structure below:

 - 3-credit compulsory and optional subjects

 - 1.5-credit Research Seminars (7 meetings)

Credit Acknowledgement: Students can seek exemption or credit acknowledgement for subjects already taken, pursuant to specific requirements set forth on the Graduate Program Rules. The decision will be made by the Graduate Program Coordinator, after consulting the Departments of Teaching and Research.

Tutors: Students will assigned a tutor to assist them with their general study planning, choosing subjects, writing and publishing articles, in addition to preparing their dissertation, essay or thesis.

Agreements and Exchange Programs: FGV-EAESP has agreements with top-quality and prestigious foreign institutions for their student exchange programs. Exchange programs are considered important not only because they allow our students the opportunity to follow part of their program abroad, but also because of the international atmosphere provided by foreign students who spend a semester at FGV-EAESP. These programs are run by the International Relations Coordination (CRI). To participate, students have to go through a selection process.
